Companion Diocese of Kigezi in Uganda
Kigezi Diocese was created in 1967 after the subdivision of Ankole Kigezi diocese. The Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna is the current bishop. The following archdeaconries make up Kigezi diocese; Cathedral Chapter, Kacereere, Kihanga, Kikungiri, Nyabirerema, Nyaruhanga, Rukore, All Saints, Buhangizi, Kamuronko, Kamuganguzi, Kantare, Muko, Kizinga, Muyebe, Rwancereere and Bubaare.
Most Merciful and Gracious Father, bless the Diocese of Kigezi and their bishop Gaddie Akanjuna. Guide and govern them in all truth; Protect them from all unrighteousness and deliver them from all evil. Bless their congregations, schools and institutions to be a light for your gospel. Raise up new leaders to take their turn at the plow and provide for their every need. We ask this though your son, our savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
